Great Things Are on the Horizon for Youth Soccer in Charlotte

CBW Soccer Elite CSA Partnership

It has been a fantastic first year planting roots here in Charlotte and having the privilege to work with so many wonderful elite players and their families. I’m humbled by the warm welcome I’ve received and the trust that so many of you have placed in me by allowing me to work with your children. As I look forward to what’s next, I’m excited to announce that CBW Soccer Elite will be partnering with Charlotte Soccer Academy to offer development clinics and college recruitment services to CSA players at all skill levels. Beginning this month, our new collaboration means that CSA players U8-U19 will now have regular access to CBW Soccer Elite’s intensive small-group training clinics at OrthoCarolina Sportsplex, and players U12 and above can enroll in our college preparation program. For a sneak peek at the Ortho clinic schedule go here.

As you think about the road ahead for your college-bound children, I encourage you to consider participating in our college recruitment program. Players who join this program receive a personalized report that outlines best-fit schools and assesses readiness to compete at the collegiate level. We have a team of academic and athletic advisors that works to connect players with their top-choice college programs, assesses how players measure up to their chosen program’s requirements, and prepares them to have a successful soccer experience at their selected school. Our recruitment program has produced excellent results so far. Players are getting specific feedback from college coaches and, best of all, we’re using that insight to align their development to coaches’ expectations. It’s a really powerful tool and is changing the way families approach the college search.

I’m also delighted to announce that we’re planning a pre-season preparation camp for college players and incoming freshman this summer. We will be offering two week-long sessions in July for female collegiate players, with limited enrollment to ensure each player receives personalized attention in the specific areas they need to focus on. The aim is to have players arrive on campus for pre-season training ready to compete for a starting spot. I will be coaching the summer camp, along with other very talented coaches with many years of experience. Look out for more details to be announced very soon.

Lastly, I want to let you know that we are in the final stages of putting together an exclusive CBW Soccer Elite ID clinic which will be held in May. This invitation-only event will include a select group of players and an impressive roster of college coaches. It’s going to be a tremendous opportunity to be seen by highly sought-after programs and is an event you won’t want to miss. I strongly recommend that you contact me early if you’d like to participate, as registration will be limited and I expect it to fill up quickly.

Again, thank you for your continued support. It has been a true pleasure to work with your children and I’m looking forward to another year of watching them develop into confident young men and women (and laughing at them all the while).
